Hyogo Kobe International Business Square (Hyogo International Business Center, Kobe Overseas Business Center, JETRO Kobe) is going to hold an online seminar (live- streamed using WebEx meetings), “Seminar on Business in India: Startup companies and organizations beyond their industrial boundaries boldly challenging—Japanese product sales/SDGs business” as follows.
This year, India’s population has overtaken China’s population and is now the highest in the world. Its retail market size is expected to rise by an average of 9% every year. As for the large market, setting a low price is firmly rooted as the customers’ needs, whereas the business targeting middle class and wealthy class people will grow by creating business targeting specific customer groups.
Also, India plays an important role for the SDGs, and interest towards businesses making profit as well as contributing to solving social issues will grow even further along with economic growth and market expansion.
